Adam Voldán, MA

Adam is a nature lover and graduate of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University in Prague, as well as a certified actuary with more than 15 years of experience. As a leading expert on climate change, he is actively involved in the development of the Czech Flood Model by linking data obtained from measurements and environmental studies. He specializes in water retention in the landscape and the identification of critical points in river basins, including proposals for technical measures to eliminate them.

He occasionally lectures at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University and at international conferences abroad. He has been happily passing on his wealth of knowledge to students since 2017 as an IT teacher at the J. Barrand Gymnasium in Beroun, and since 2020 he has been an important member of the teaching team at the V Zahradách Elementary School as a teacher of mathematics, computer science, and physics.
